You’ll never guess what, Mercedes actually did something useful with her life this week and she managed to get a job… But wait all you glamour girls; it isn’t quite the career prospect she had in mind – not unless you like smelly bogs and wee filled floors! She’s a cleaner at the hospital. Let’s be honest; in the hospitals I’ve been in, the cleaners have never been as voluptuous as Mercedes so any of you lads popping down to A&E to check out the local talent will have a shock on their hands as Mildred ain’t as stunning as our Mercedes! Not the most exciting of jobs but hey, that girl has got to start somewhere! Anyway Mercedes finds herself a nice surprise back at the hospital when she notices that she slept with one of the doctors working there the night before. Now only our Mercy would get up to something like that! Awkward!

planning a secret wedding for Nancy, and Cindy agrees to help him by being Nancy
in front of the registrar. Yes you’ve got that right! The Cindy that Nancy hates.

TUESDAY 24TH JANUARY 2012
OMG! The Doctor has shocked us all! He’s only gone and paid Mercedes to sleep with him! Although Mercy is shocked and rather gobsmacked, it’s just another way to make money. Dirty money. After all this is Mercedes we’re talking about!
Meanwhile Neil is getting a bit too confident when he volunteers to drive Maddie and the gang to Sheffield to see a concert. He can barely put on his seatbelt never mind actually drive a car! Anyway he needs to pass his driving test first! Oh and might I just add, he hasn’t even passed his theory test yet. So things are looking really bright for Neil…

Darren is still trying to sort out this secret wedding of his, but it’s not much of a secret now that Cindy knows, is it? He books a day at the spa for Nancy, which Nancy is thrilled about, however on the sly he’s taking Cindy to the registry office. Who would’ve thought eh?
Cheryl’s re-living her teen years as she’s only gone and started a business course at uni. Now she’s going to have to start mingling with the teenagers and learn their language. How hard could that be? Well she knows just how to get the popular kids on her side! It’s obvious isn’t it? Call them round to Chez Chez for free drinks!
Back at the hospital, Mercedes is being her usual conniving self by taking advantage of the doctor’s money and asking for more. Hmm I wonder where this is going to lead us?
Things aren’t looking to great for Cheryl though. She ends up waking up at the student halls and that can only mean one thing. Uh-Oh. She can’t remember a single thing from last night which makes the situation a whole lot...better? Oh dear Cheryl. You should know better! So she finally escapes only to realise she’s left her keys back there somewhere.

Mercedes is getting along with this cleaning quite well. She’s learnt to stop complaining and just get along with it now. Yes that’s right, Mercedes isn’t complaining for once and she’s even managing to put on a fake smile every now and then! So she’s cleaning up a patients room, (the poor guy’s in a coma) when Mercedes notices he looks a lot like Riley. I think that’s your conscience playing with you there Mercy. This leads Mercedes to start reminiscing her time with Riley. Awwwh didn’t they make a cute couple? Well we can snap right out of that thought because we all know they are well and truly over! It’s a shame really. I think all this cleaning is going to her head as she only starts talking to the man in the coma as if he’s alive. She doesn’t expect to get a response but shockingly the patient’s heart monitor goes off! What can we say eh? Mercedes has that sort of an effect on all the men. She rushes out for help, as fast as those heels take her. We all know she dresses to impress. Well what did you think? Mercedes wearing flats? I don’t think she’d be seen dead in flats! Seeing as theirs no nurses or doctors about, she pulls in Lynsey to do something to help the poor man but is Lynsey willing to take a risk?

Lynsey’s too reluctant but being put under this pressure isn’t helping! And so being the good Samaritan she is, Lynsey resuscitates the patient and brings him back to life! Wahey! Any reason to celebrate eh? She can’t let Doctor Browning know though or that would be asking for trouble…
Cheryl, being the sane woman she is, creeps back into the student halls searching for her keys frantically before she gets caught out. Ooooh isn’t she a daredevil! She’s in Rob’s room when she finds them. Oh no…She didn’t…No she can’t have. *whispers* Did she really sleep with rob?! Well just to put the icing on the cake she bumps into Annalise on the way out. I wouldn’t like to be in Cheryl’s shoes right now…

Oh no! Darrens doubting having a wedding! We can’t let that happen! Apparently it’s too expensive. Excuses, excuses. Although to be quite honest I wouldn’t want to be Nancy right now. A man planning the wedding? Is that even possible?! Us girls have every detail of our wedding planned, down to the last diamanté from the age of 12!

Poor Lynsey has quite a stern telling off by Doctor Browning. He’s found out about her resuscitating the patient when the patient was DNR- DO NOT RESUCITATE. Uh-oh. He also mentions something about her not being able to become a nurse again. Now that’s pretty harsh. I’d be scared if I was Lynsey, this Doctor is starting to freak me out just a little bit. Hmm maybe it’s the permanent scowl on his face.
